today we cycled with louis garneau and he took us on some pretty steep hills!
day 12 team 1- today we cycled 125 km from hawkesberry to montreal. the ride was picturesque! we ended the day with some yoga!
my mom,dad, sister rosie and her boyfriend seb, my brother, sister in law and niece came to show their support! love you family!
my two great friends ali and kari came out to show their support! kari was a 2009 national rider who inspired me to do the ride!
i work for the best company in the world! canfitpro staff came out to yonge and dundas square to show their support. they made an amazing sign that said “christine the machine”!!
my husband has been so supportive of me through out this entire process. he bought a bike so he could train with me all summer long. i was so happy he was able to particpate in the ride along from barrie to toronto. thank you for all of your support hunny i couldnt have done it with out you. see you in halifax!
the past couple of days have been cold and wet. the terrain was hilly and the wind was strong. although i am feeling pain it doesnt compare to the pain the children and their families face when battling cancer. when i start to think i cant do this anymore i think of alex, finn, sarah, crystal and all of the kids who have been affected and i keep on pushing. - we will continue to push unrtil we kick cancers butt!
